UHU Stick ReNATURE Receives the Nordic Swan Ecolabel
UHU stic ReNATURE, UHU’s sustainable glue stick has a primary packaging made of 58% plant-based raw materials and a glue formula consisting of 98% natural ingredients. It is the first and only glue stick in the world to have been certified by the Nordic Swan Ecolabel in 2021.
UHU stic ReNATURE is the second product from the ReNATURE line that has obtained the Nordic Swan Ecolabel, after UHU twist & glue ReNATURE in 2015. UHU ReNATURE is the only adhesive product range in the household, hobby and office segment that has received this reward.
A unique product range
UHU’s ReNATURE line is a unique product range characterised by the combination of highly-sustainable formulations and packaging, and reduced impact on the environment. Compared to conventional adhesives, this means both a reduction of CO2 emissions and the use of fossil resources.
Requirements
To obtain the Nordic Swan Ecolabel, products must comply with a list of requirements:
- environmentally-friendly production
- sustainable development
- reduction of greenhouse gas emissions
- protection of our ecosystems from hazardous chemicals
- reduced consumption and use of resources
