Origins
The Botot mouthwash was invented by dentist Edme François Julien Botot, personal physician to King Louis XV of France. The preparation, created with natural essences, ensured the king’s breath lived up to his reputation as a seducer.
Just before the French Revolution, King Louis XVI gave his royal approval to this product. Years passed, but the Botot brand survived, made famous by its years of royal glory!
